There are 451 collections with 250293 objects in it in this section concerning the theatrical art workers. Among them the founder of East- Armenian theatre G.Chmshkyan’s collection is the oldest one. Collections of Armenian theatres which had performances in different times and places, various cultural institutions, hand-written plays, theatrical memoirs, bibliographic materials are also kept in this section. The stage cloths and stage goods of the actors shed luster on this section and are demonstrated properly. Especially the stage cloths of Hamlet, Uriel Acosta, Othello created by the famous actor P.Adamyan are valuable relics. His best paintings graphic designs as well as many works of other great artists belonging to him are also kept in this section.
Besides the theatrical collections a separate subsection has been formed by sketches of performances and cloths, models, portraits of famous stage workers, busts, death-masks, photos of different types with almost 57000 objects in it. There are also Statuettes of the Bronze Age concerning the ancient period of Armenia.
On the base of these rich materials the past of Armenian theatre, especially of the 19-20th centuries with its international connections are illustrated thoroughly.
